Warrington man charged following fail to stop collision on Sankey Way Date published: 9th June 2016 10.20am

A 26-year-old man been charged in relation to a fail to stop collision in Warrington.

The collision, between a 15-year-old boy and a car, occurred at approximately 10.30pm on Wednesday 1st June on the A57, Sankey Way, Warrington.

The man, who is from the Warrington area, was arrested by officers on Wednesday 8th June.

Following questioning he was charged with driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a law; driver of a vehicle fail to stop after a road accident; driver of a vehicle of a road accident fail to report the accident and using a motor vehicle in a public place without third party insurance.

The man is set to appear at North Cheshire Magistrates on 12 July 2016.
