Woman from Congleton jailed for drugs offences Date published: 1st December 2017 3.21pm

A woman from Congleton has been jailed for 32 months for dealing class A drugs.

Georgina Bowyer, 20, of Havannah Street, Congleton, was jailed at Chester Crown Court on 27 November after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, MDMA and cocaine.

Bowyer was arrested and found in possession of a large amount of drugs and cash after officers stopped her car on Mountbatten Way, Congleton, on October 26.

Congleton beat Sergeant Keith Graham said: “The arrest and sentencing of Bowyer will hopefully send out a message to all those involved in drug supply in the Congleton area that the Police are working hard to target those involved.

“We act on all information that we receive and would ask the public to continue to help us identify these people to make Congleton a safer place to live.”

Bowyer was sent to a young offenders’ institute for 32 months.
