Detectives investigating a burglary in Runcorn are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At some time between 3pm and 11pm on Saturday 2 November a burglar/s have broken the back window of a house on Crofton Road and entered the property.
The offender/s have then searched the house before leaving with a small amount of cash.
Detective Sergeant Rob McLoughlin, of Runcorn Local Policing Unit, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries however I am appealing directly to the local community to come forward with information.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area between 3pm and 11pm? Were you driving through the area and could have dashcam footage of anyone acting suspiciously?
“Any information – no matter how small could help with our investigation and lead to those responsible.”
