Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a man was left with life changing injuries following a collision in Nantwich.
At around 1.15pm on Thursday 19 December a red BMW Mini Cooper was involved in a collision with a white BMW on the A51, Nantwich Bypass.
The collision occurred between Cheerbrook Roundabout and Peacock Roundabout, near to the railway overbridge.
The driver of the Mini, a 37-year-old local man, sustained live changing injuries as a result of the collision. He is currently in a critical condition in hospital.
The driver of the BMW, a 50-year-old local woman, suffered m a number of injuries.
PC James Shrimpton, from Cheshire Roads Policing Unit, said: "Enquiries in relation to this collision are ongoing and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which may aid our investigation.
“The A51 is a busy road and I believe that at the time of the incident there could have been a number people in the area, who may have seen what happened and I’d urge them to get in touch.
“The same goes for anyone who was driving in the area and believes they have any dashcam footage which may be relevant to the investigation.”
