Officers investigating a collision in Warrington are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At 2.40pm on Tuesday 4 February a grey Audi was driving along Chester Road when it was in collision with a pedestrian.
An ambulance arrived at the scene and a 91-year-old woman was taken to Warrington Hospital.
She remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, a 29-year-old man, did not require hospital treatment.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen it take place.
They would also like people who were driving in the area at the time the collision occurred to submit dashcam footage.
