Police are appealing for information from members of the public following a collision on the M62.
The collision involved a cyclist and a red Ford Fiesta.
It occurred on the roundabout of junction nine at around 4.55pm on Friday 19 November.
The cyclist, a 27-year-old local man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He is in a stable condition at hospital.
The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man from Widnes, was uninjured.
Officers have been conducting numerous enquiries and are appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.
Sergeant Anthony Gallagher, from Cheshire Constabulary’s Serious and Complex Investigation Team, said: “As part of the investigation I am appealing for anyone who saw the collision take place or has information that could assist with our enquiries.”
