Detectives appeal for witnesses and video footage following Frodsham Burglary

Detectives investigating a burglary in Frodsham are appealing for information and video footage from members of the public.
Sometime between 8am and 9am on Saturday 3 July unknown offenders forced entry into a flat above the Top Shop store on Langdale Way.
Once inside the offenders searched the address and left with a quantity of cash and silver tableware.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and detectives are urging anyone with any information or video footage that may aid their investigation to get in touch.
Detective Constable Carl Humphreys said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident are in the early stages and we are committed to doing all we can to trace the people responsible.
“The store beneath the flat was open at the time of the burglary and as part of our investigation we’re keen to hear from anyone who visited the shop around the time of the incident and believes they may have seen anything suspicious.
“The same goes for anyone who was passing through the area at the time of the burglary.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.
“I’d ask anyone with any information, no matter how small, to contact the team here at Chester on 101 to help ensure the people responsible for this incident are brought to justice.”
