Police investigating numerous thefts of motorcycles in Widnes and Runcorn are appealing for information from members of the public.
In the last three months there has been an increase in the bikes being stolen.
The bikes are then believed to be used to commit crime and anti-social behaviour in the towns.
Detective Constable Jordan Trentini said: “While we will have officers patrolling these areas I am keen for the public to come forward with information that could help in pursuing those involved that would help put a stop to this behaviour.
“If you know who might be committing the thefts or using the bikes in an anti-social manner or to commit further crimes please get in touch.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may know where the bikes that have been stolen are now being stored.
“I understand people may be reticent in coming forward therefore I would encourage you to still provide information but to do so anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visiting their website.
“Information can be provided by visiting Cheshire Constabulary’s website too.”
