Officers investigating a number of incidents in Runcorn have released CCTV footage of two men they are looking to speak to.
On Sunday 8 May officers were called to reports that an unknown person accessed an insecure vehicle on Rudheath Lane and made on untidy search of the car.
On the same day officers were made aware that two bicycles had been stolen from a garden on the same road.
Both incidents are believed to have taken place between 7pm on Saturday 7 May and 1am on Sunday 8 May.
Police Constable Dawn Taylor, from Runcorn Beat team, said: “This investigation is ongoing and as part of our enquiries we’re keen to speak to the two men in the CCTV footage as we believe they may have crucial information which may help us in our investigation.
“If you think you recognise the men, or have any information in relation to the incident, please call the team here at Runcorn on 101.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the men in the CCTV footage to get in touch to help us progress with our investigation.”
