Police are investigating an attempted robbery in Warrington and are appealing for information from members of the public.
Two men approached the 19-year-old man in Sankey Valley Park while he was riding his electric scooter.
They then punched him to the face and attempted to push the victim off the scooter.
The two men are believed to be described as white, wearing dark clothing.
The incident took place between 5:00pm and 5:30pm on Friday 3 June.
PC James Gibbison, of Warrington local policing unit, said: “We believe these men attempted to steal the victim’s e-scooter while on the footpath next to Bewsey Meadows.
“However, after failing, they fled the scene.
“As part of our investigation, we’re asking anyone who has CCTV or dash cam footage to please get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the park at the time and may have seen the assault to make contact.”
Anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to contact Cheshire Constabulary online https://www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or via 101 quoting IML 1284674.
