Police in Runcorn are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision.
Shortly after 1.15am on Sunday 29 October, police received reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian near the Runcorn Spur Road Roundabout.
The pedestrian, a 65-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital at this time.
As part of enquiries into the incident, police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it.
Sergeant Russell Sime said:
“Our investigation is ongoing, and although this collision occurred in the early hours of the morning, we are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any dashcam footage, to get in touch with us.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the pedestrian near this location prior to the collision so we can establish exactly what happened.”
