Officers investigating a fatal collision in Chester have charged a man in relation to the incident.
At 10.46am on Sunday 5 November two cars collided at the traffic lights near to the Countess of Chester Hospital.
A 57-year-old woman was taken to hospital but sadly died.
Paul Wright, of Westenra Avenue, Ellesmere Port, was arrested at the scene in relation to the incident.
The 31-year-old has since been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and a further two offences of drug driving from earlier in the year.
Wright has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court later today, Tuesday 7 November.
