Police are appealing for information after reports of a robbery on a bus travelling between Runcorn and Widnes.
On Tuesday 20 June, at around 11am, three people boarded a bus in Runcorn and sat at the back, travelling in the direction of Widnes.
They were then approached by an unknown male who demanded they turn over a quantity of cash.
He threatened to stab them, although no knife was seen.
The suspect remained on the bus before getting off at Ashley Way, Widnes.
He is described as white, between 18 and 20 years old, with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was wearing grey joggers, a blue coat with his hood zipped up, and spoke with a Liverpool accent.
Detective Constable Christopher Kearney said:
“This must have been a terrifying ordeal for those involved and we’re doing all we can to find the person responsible.
“I’d urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information which could aid our investigation to get in touch.”
