Detectives investigating a burglary in Chester have released images of stolen jewellery to help aid their investigation.

At around 2.40pm on Tuesday 18 July, police received reports of a burglary at a domestic property in Crewe Lane, Farndon.

The burglary was reported to have happened at some time between 9.30am and 2pm that day.

During the incident, numerous items of jewellery were stolen, including various bangles, necklaces, earrings, and rings.

Detective Constable Paul Boneham said:

“Burglary is a particularly distressing crime, and in this case many of the items taken were of immense sentimental value to the victim.

“Enquiries have been ongoing and we have now released images of the jewellery which was stolen during this incident to help aid our investigation.

“I would ask anyone who is offered jewellery in unusual circumstances or who recognises these pieces to contact us via the Cheshire Police website, or on 101, quoting 23000648981.

“The same goes for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and noticed anything suspicious.”
