Police appeal for information following robbery in Delamere Forest

Police are appealing to the public for information after an electric bike was stolen in Delamere Forest.
At around 1.15pm on Wednesday 16 August, a 54-year-old man was riding his bike on a cycle trail in Delamere Forest, Delamere.
The man was travelling on an unofficial cycle route when a teenager stood on the side of the path pushed him, forcing him to dismount.
The suspect, along with another teenage boy approached the victim, threatening him to hand over the bike. He complied and the teenagers proceeded to make off with the bike in an unknown direction.
The first suspect is described as a teenage boy, aged 15 and 16, wearing a full-face helmet and googles, bike kit and gloves.
The second suspect is also described as a teenage boy aged between 15 and 16 of large build and with blonde hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark tracksuit bottoms and jacket with a baseball hat.
The stolen bike is described as a dark green Whyte E180 electric bike with black upgraded Rockshock Ultimate forks and Hope pedal upgrades. It is believed to be worth around £2000 .
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information that may aid the investigation.
Detective Constable Ebbie Pharo, who is leading the investigation, said:
"This investigation is in its early stages, and we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the Delamere Forest area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed anything suspicious to come forward.
