At around 4.50pm on Saturday 23 August two unknown men forced entry into an address on Knowle Lane.
The pair gained entry into the address after forcing open a side window.
Once inside they started to search the address but fled empty handed after activating an alarm.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers are appealing for witnesses and video footage.

“We’re also urging local residents to review their CCTV and doorbell cameras between 4.30pm and 5.15pm on 23 August, to see if they have any footage of the suspects.
“I’d ask anyone with any information which may aid our investigation to get in touch with the team here at Chester.”
