Officers investigating a fatal collision in Northwich are appealing for video footage and witnesses to come forward.
At 9.16am today (Thursday 18 July), police were called to a collision involving a blue Ford Focus and a white Suzuki Celerio on the A533 on Runcorn Road, Northwich.
Sadly, a man who was passenger of the white Suzuki died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
The drivers of both vehicles were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road remains closed between Barnton and the A49 while emergency services continue work at the scene.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are underway and anyone with any information is urged to get in touch.
Inspector Steve Griffiths, of the Cheshire Police Serious and Complex Collision Investigation Unit said: “Enquires in relation to this collision are ongoing and we are committed to doing all we can to establish exactly what took place.
“As part of our investigation we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and believes they may have witnessed the incident.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam footage or CCTV footage which may aid the investigation.
“We are also looking to speak to anyone who resides on Runcorn Road, who may have captured CCTV or doorbell footage of the vehicles involved prior to the collision.”
