Officers investigating a serious collision on the M6 are appealing for any witnesses or those with footage to come forward.
At around 3.20am on Friday 18 October police were called to reports of a collision on the M6 northbound between junction 18 and 19.
The incident involved a car transporter and a black Ford Fusion.
The driver of the car, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains at this time.
The driver of the car transporter was uninjured.
Sergeant Russell Sime said:
“We are continuing our enquiries into this incident, and we would now urge anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam footage.
