Police are appealing for information following an incident of indecent exposure in Alsager.
On Wednesday 16 October, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident in Brookhouse Road.
A woman reported that at around 11am, she had been walking along Brookhouse Road in the direction of Cedar Avenue when she was stopped by a man in a vehicle who was asking for directions.
As the woman approached the vehicle to help, the man exposed himself and the woman walked away.
The suspect is described as a white male, of an unknown age, with glasses, and was driving a grey/silver vehicle.
DC Lauren Constable said:
“Firstly, we would like to reassure the community that we take offences of this nature seriously and we are conducting a number of enquiries to identify the person responsible.
“We would like anyone who witnessed this incident or who saw a man driving a grey/silver vehicle acting suspiciously in the area to get in touch.
“Please can residents along Brookhouse Road, Station Road, Cedar Avenue, or any other neighbouring roads check any dashcam, CCTV, or video doorbell footage from the day of the incident for anything which may be relevant to our investigation.
“We would urge anyone who has been approached by this man to report it to Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1941033.
“Please do not approach any vehicle if requested by someone that you do not know, and report any incidents or concerns to police.”
