Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Knutsford

Officers investigating reports of an aggravated burglary in Knutsford are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 9.10pm on Sunday 10 November, police received reports of an incident at an address off Chelford Road, Knutsford.

The caller reported three unknown offenders had gained access to the property. The victim was then assaulted during the incident, suffering minor injuries, before the suspects fled the scene.

Officers attended the scene but there was no trace of the suspects.

Detective Sergeant Steven Kaminski said:

“Firstly, we would like to reassure residents in the area that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible. Therefore, we would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or saw anything suspicious either before or after it happened in the Chelford Road area to get in touch with us.

“The same goes for anyone who has any CCTV, video doorbell or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.
