Police are appealing for witnesses after a child was seriously injured in a collision with an e-scooter.
Between 6.10pm and 6.20pm on Monday 1 April a 5-year-old child and her mother were walking along a footpath in Victoria Park in Widnes when the collision happened. The rider of the e-scooter did not stop and left the scene.
The girl suffered a serious injury to her leg and was taken to hospital. The rider is described as white, male, approximately 15 years old with blond messy long hair. He is of stocky build and was wearing an orange t-shirt and tracksuit pants. He was riding a black electric scooter.
