Detectives are appealing for information and video footage following an aggravated burglary in Crewe.
At around 4.27pm on Saturday 4 May, two unknown men forced entry into an address on Nelson Street, Crewe.
Once inside the men, who were armed with crowbars and screwdrivers, threatened the occupant.
During the incident, the men disturbed a number of dogs that lived in the address, and they subsequently fled the scene in direction of Nile Street, Crewe.
Fortunately, nothing was taken during the incident.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are urging members of the public with information which could aid the investigation to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Rob Bushell, of CID Reactive East, said:
“This was an absolutely terrifying incident that occurred in broad daylight and we want to reassure local residents that we are committed to doing all we can to trace the people responsible.
“Enquiries are ongoing and as part of our investigation, we want to hear from anyone who was in the Nelson Street or Nile Street area around the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation."
Anyone with information or footage that may aid the ongoing investigation should visit the website or call 101, quoting IML-1815372
