Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision in Warrington.
At around 9.25am on Saturday 11 May, police were called to reports of a collision on St Peter’s Way, near to the junction of Orford Lane.
Officers attended the scene and found that there had been a collision between a black Mercedes and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 77-year-old local, sustained potentially life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital, where she remains at this time.

Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with information which may aid their investigation.
Sergeant Andrew Dennison, of the Serious and Complex Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“This was a serious collision which has left an elderly woman with potentially life-threatening injuries, and we’re committed to doing all we can to establish what took place.
“We are aware that there were several people in the area at the time of the collision, and I would urge anyone who thinks they may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage of it, to come forward.”
