Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Widnes.
At around 6pm on Friday 13 September a man in his 60s was riding on his electric bike along a path on the Bongs from Crow Wood Park. As he travelled past an alleyway that leads to Barnes Road he was approached by three teenagers.
One of them kicked the rear of his commuter style bike and he fell off, injuring himself.
They tried to take his bike and a struggle ensued until they were disturbed by other people approaching. The suspects fled towards Crow Wood Park.
The three suspects were described as around 17-years-old, white, wearing balaclavas and possibly North Face clothing.
