Detectives investigating an incident at a pub in Widnes where a man was assaulted have released images of three men they are looking to speak to in relation to the incident.
At around 12.19am on Sunday 1 December, officers received reports of an incident occurring outside of a public house on Widnes Road.
Attending the scene, officers found that that a violent altercation had broken out between several men, with a 60-year-old man suffering serious injuries to his hand and face.
Officers also found that the other men who were believed to be involved had fled the scene on foot and could not be located.
As part of their enquiries into the incident, officers have now released images of three men they would like to speak to as they believe they hold vital information.
Police Constable Meg Gray, of Widnes Response, said:
“We appreciate that this incident occurred in December, but there would have been plenty of people in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the incident.
"We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the men pictured in the CCTV images, along with the men themselves, to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone with any information in relation to the incident."
