Police are investigating an incident where a woman was found with serious injuries in Runcorn.
At around 8.52am on Saturday 25 January a 51-year-old woman was found in Thorn Road in a distressed state. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything of significance between the evening of Friday 24 January and 8.52am the following morning that may help us understand how she came by her injuries.
DC Abbie Jennett said:
“I’d urge anyone who has any information or has dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage that may help us establish how she came by her injuries to contact us.”
