Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Disley.
Police received reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Buxton Road, opposite The Albert Hotel, which is believed to have taken place shortly before 11.45pm on Saturday 10 May.
The pedestrian, a 51-year-old woman, is believed to have suffered serious injuries. The car failed to stop at the scene and was travelling in the direction of New Mills, Derbyshire.
Sergeant Jon Dixon said:
“We are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please get in touch with us. The same goes for anyone with any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area between 11.30pm and midnight on Saturday 10 May which could help us to trace the vehicle involved.
