Officers investigating a fail to stop pursuit in Warrington are appealing for witnesses and video footage.
At around 1.30pm on Tuesday 5 December, police attempted to stop a car which was displaying false number plates on Neville Avenue, Warrington.
The driver of the grey Seat Leon failed to stop, and officers pursued the vehicle as it travelled through the Orford Area.
During the pursuit, the car travelled along a number of roads, including Lock Avenue, Cooper Avenue, West Avenue, Clough Avenue, Burtons Green, Poplars Avenue, Poplars Road and Winwick Road.
Police subsequently abandoned the pursuit, and the car was later found abandoned near to Moss Gate Park.
A 45-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident; he has since been released under investigation.
As part of ongoing enquiries officers are keen to hear from anyone with any dash-cam or CCTV footage of the pursuit.
Officers would also like to hear from a member of the public who stopped a police car which was en-route to the pursuit and provided a possible identity for the driver.
The same goes for anyone who witnessed the driver fleeing the scene after abandoning the car.
Anyone with any information or footage is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us , quoting IML 1706226.
