Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a burglary at a convenience store in Northwich.
At around 11.15pm on Monday 27 November, two unknown offenders walked towards the Co-op store in Lostock Gralam, travelling from the Manchester Road direction.
The pair smashed a window at the front of the shop, they then entered the building and forced open the tills before taking a large quantity of cash.
The pair left the store at 11.19pm and are believed to have got into a vehicle which was parked nearby.
Both of the offenders are believed to be men, one of whom was wearing a parka style coat.
Detective Constable Claire Heatley, or Northwich Proactive Policing team, said:
“Enquiries in relation to this incident are in the early stages and we are doing all we can to identify the people responsible.
“As part of our investigation I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and believes that they may have seen anything suspicious.
“I’d also ask residents in the Manchester Road and Cheshire Avenue areas to check their CCTV or video doorbell footage to see if they have anything which may aid our investigation.
“The same goes for any motorists with any dashcam footage.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 1701136.
Information can also be reported anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
