Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision in Bosley.
Shortly after 3pm on Monday 4 March, police were called to reports of a collision on the A523 in Bosley, near to the river Dane.
Officers attended the scene and found there had been a collision between an orange and black KTM motorcycle and a silver Vauxhall Vivaro van.
The rider of the motorbike, a 43-year-old man from Stoke-On-Trent, sadly passed away at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the van, a 39-year-old man from Staffordshire was treated for minor injuries.
Sergeant Simon Degg, of the Serious and Complex Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“This was an incredibly tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.
“As part of our investigation, we are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone who has any dashcam or CCTV footage, that may help us determine how this incident occurred.
