Officers investigating reports of an assault in a park in Congleton are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
On Saturday 24 February, it was reported that a 26-year-old woman had been assaulted in Congleton Park by two known women.
This is believed to have taken place at some time between 3pm and 4pm.
She suffered multiple areas of bruising to her head, arms, and legs during the reported incident.
As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are appealing for any potential witnesses to contact them.
PC Ben Hooper said:
“Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone who may have any footage of the incident or any other information which could aid our enquiries.”
