At 6.45pm on Sunday 17 March, police were called to reports of a collision on Castlefields Avenue South.
The incident involved a vehicle and a teenage girl. The teenager suffered minor injuries in the incident and the vehicle – believed to be a dark-coloured car - failed to stop at the scene.

“We are currently working to trace the vehicle involved in this incident.
“As part of the investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and believes they may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam or video doorbell footage of what happened.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML-1780045.”
