Officers investigating a fatal collision in Disley are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
At 10.20pm on Thursday 2 November, police were called to reports of a single vehicle collision on Mudhurst Lane, involving a grey BMW X5.
Officers attended the scene and found the vehicle had overturned.
A 19-year-old man – believed to be the driver – had suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment but sadly died on Friday 3 November.
Four passengers were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Enquiries are currently ongoing, and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
Sergeant Andrew Dennison said:
“This was a serious collision in which a young man has sadly lost his life. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.
“We are now urging anyone who witnessed what happened or has any information to aid our investigation to come forward.
“We would also like to appeal to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage.”
