Officers investigating a high value theft in Warrington have released CCTV images of women they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
At 3.52pm on Thursday 16 November police were called to reports of a theft in Warrington.
The caller reported that three women had stolen a large amount of cash from an 85-year-old woman who was travelling on the number 2 Latchford bus.
The women are believed to have distracted the victim after following her onto the bus.
Officers launched an investigation and as part of this, they have now released CCTV images of three woman, who they believe hold vital information.
Initial enquiries suggest the women could also have links to Sheffield.
PC Graham Davies said:
“As part of our ongoing investigation, we would urge anyone who recognises the women pictured to get in touch with us.
“We are also appealing directly to the women to make contact.
