Officers are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Widnes.
At 2.53pm today, Saturday 13 January, police were called to reports of a collision on Moore Lane, Widnes.
Officers attended and found that the collision involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a blue Sym motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have information to get in touch.
Superintendent Saf Ali, of the Roads and Crime Unit, said: “This is a busy road and there will have been a number of vehicles travelling at this time.
“As part of our investigation, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage of it.”
