Police are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop collision in Widnes.
At 7.22pm on Thursday 23 November a silver car was in collision with a 9-year-old pedestrian at a pelican crossing near Pesto on Birchfield Road. The girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The car also struck a dog, but it was uninjured.
Sergeant Ian Smith said:
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police to contact us. The same goes for anyone with dashcam footage that may help us identify the car and driver involved in the collision.”
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1697960.
