Detectives investigating an armed robbery in Macclesfield have charged a man from Merseyside in connection with the incident.
Andrew Monaghan was arrested on Thursday 16 January at his home in Huyton.
The 42-year-old of Huyton House Road, has since been charged with robbery.
The charge relates to an armed robbery at a convenience store on Cross Street, Macclesfield, which occurred at around 11pm on Saturday 12 October 2019.
Monaghan has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Friday 16 January.
