A Warrington man has been charged with murder.
Daniel Sharples, aged 37, of Grisedale Avenue, was charged at Liverpool Crown Court today (Monday 6 January).
He has been remanded into custody and is due to stand trial on Monday 18 May.
The charge relates to an incident in Crown Street at around 12.15pm on Sunday 6 October.
The victim, Michael Mairs, aged 53, sustained serious injuries during the incident and died on Monday 28 October.
