A 33-year-old has been charged after two other men from Widnes were assaulted in the town.
Liam Waite was arrested at his home on Hale Road at around 10pm on Wednesday 22 July.
He has subsequently been charged with wounding with intent and assaulting a person and causing them actual bodily harm.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred at an address in Page Lane, Widnes, at around 8pm on Wednesday 22 July.
A man in his 30s sustained a serious injury as a result of the incident and was taken to hospital in an ambulance. He has since been discharged after receiving treatment.
A man in his 40s suffered a minor injury as a result of the incident that did not require hospital treatment.
Waite appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Friday 24 July, via a video link.
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on the week commencing Monday 11 January.
