A man has been charged with section 18 wounding in connection with an incident in Ellesmere Port.Anthony Gee, of Raby Court in Ellesmere Port, has been remanded in custody. The 45-year-old has also been charged with possession of a knife and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on today (Friday 15 May).The charge relates to an incident at 11.56am on Wednesday 13 May when a 34-year-old man was seriously injured at the junction of Cambridge Road and Whitby Road.He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.A 44-year-old man who was arrested alongside Gee on Whitby Road on Wednesday 13 May has been released under investigation.
