A 25-year-old man from Widnes has been charged with three offences after officers conducted a stop and search in the town.
Jack Feeney, of Green Oaks Path, was arrested in Page Lane at around 1.45pm on Thursday 30 April.
He has subsequently been charged with possession of class A drug cocaine and class B drug cannabis.
Feeney has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court via a video link on Friday 1 May.
Feeney has been remanded in custody and is set to return to the court on Friday 29 May.
