A 40-year-old man from Ellesmere Port has been charged following a robbery in the town.
Robert Forbes, of Sutton Way in Great Sutton, was arrested on Thursday 14 January.
He has subsequently been charged with robbery, dangerous driving and driving without a licence and insurance.
The robbery charge relates to an investigation into an incident at a convenience store on Old Chester Road in Great Sutton.
No-one was hurt in the incident, which occurred shortly after 7am on Tuesday 12 January.
The driving offences relate to an incident that occurred in the Stanney Woods area of Ellesmere Port on Thursday 14 January.
Forbes appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 16 January, via a video link.
He was remanded into custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday 12 February.
