Officers investigating a fatal collision on Warmingham Lane near Middlewich have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Liam Foster, of Smallbrook Walk, Crewe, was arrested on Monday 11 October.
The 45-year-old has since been charged with causing death by dangerous driving; causing death whilst disqualified from driving; causing death whilst uninsured and failing to stop after a collision.
Foster has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ on Wednesday 13 October.
The charge relates to a one vehicle collision involving a red Ford Focus which was reported to police at 11.51am on Friday 8 October.
Sadly, a passenger from the vehicle, a 57-year-old woman from Crewe, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers
