A 37-year-old man has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Lymm.
Andrew Potter, of Thelwall New Road in Warrington, was arrested at an address in Latchford on Friday 8 October.
He has since been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article. He appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court on Saturday 9 October and was remanded in custody.
Potter is due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday 5 November.
The charges relate to a 36-year-old man assaulted on Pepper Street on Monday 19 July.
