Detectives have charged a man from Liverpool with fraud offences.
Damien Tideswell, of Hale Drive, was arrested on Thursday 16 December following a warrant at his address.
The 40-year-old was taken into custody and has since been charged with two counts of fraud.
Tideswell has been remanded in custody and appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday 17 December.
The charges of fraud relate to the sale of land in London in 2018 involving victims from Chester.
