Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a betting shop in Winsford have charged a man in connection with the incident.

The 33-year-old of Station Road, Winsford, has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 4 November.
The charge relates to an incident at the Betfred store on Jubilee Way which occurred at around 12.20pm on Thursday 4 August.
