Arrests made and weapons seized following police operation in Christleton

This morning (Monday 12 December) officers assisted court bailiffs with an eviction in Whitchurch Road, Christleton.

Two men aged 44 and 53 and two women aged 51 and 58 have been arrested on suspicion of a range of offences, including firearms offences, and are currently in custody.

Officers searching the property have seized three firearms and four crossbows and remain at the scene.

Superintendent Gareth Wrigley said:

“The A41 is in the process of being reopened. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank people for their patience. We understand the impact the closure has had on the community, but we have to ensure we bring this eviction to a safe conclusion for everyone.”
