Man charged in connection with murder in Warrington

Detectives investigating the murder of Billy Moore (pictured) in Warrington have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Billy, 31, sadly died following an incident at an address in Yardley Avenue in Bewsey and Whitecross on Thursday 22 December.
James Ireland was arrested in connection with the incident at around 4.40pm on Saturday 24 December.
The 41-year-old, of Lodge Lane, Bewsey and Whitecross, has since been charged with murder.
Ireland has been remanded in custody and is set appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 26 December 2022.
A 44-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the incident has since been released on conditional bail.
