Detectives investigating the rape of a woman at her home in Warrington have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Petrus-Ionut Apostoae was arrested on Monday 5 December.
The 24-year-old of Gorsey Lane, Warrington, has since been charged with two counts of rape and one count of burglary.
Apostoae has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on Wednesday 7 December.
The charges relate to an incident at an address on Orford Lane on Sunday 2 October.
