A 38-year-old man from Crewe has been charged with driving and drug offences.
Matthew Hurst, of Badger Avenue, was detained by police on Grosvenor Street in Crewe shortly after 11pm on Sunday 1 May.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession of amphetamine, driving dangerously, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance and subsequently charged.
Hurst was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday 3 May.
The charge relates to a man decamping from a vehicle that was pursued by police and the man was located by officers in a garden in Crewe.
